MELON MANIA SWEET, JUICY MELONS Watermelons---Red, Yellow and Orange varieties Cantaloupes,and Ananas(a white fleshed melon)
All Melons 60 cents/pound during Melon Mania COOK-OUT SEASON IS HERE!!! We are now picking OUR OWN SWEET CORN. We have plenty of bi-color(traditional yellow and white). Just starting to pick an ALL WHITE variety "White Out", and an ALL YELLOW variety "Honey Select". As always, our sweet corn is picked fresh everyday and we also offer our traditional farmer's dozen of 13 ears. What's up with the fruit this year? Fruit is ripening 2 -3 weeks ahead of normal. The warm, well maybe hot and humid , weather has quickened the ripening of all the fruits and vegetables. We are now harvesting peaches, plums, and summer apples including 'Gingergold', 'Paula Red', 'Gala', 'Honey Crisp', 'McIntosh'. EGGPLANT is in !!! Eggplant Parmersan, Ratatouille,YUM, YUM. Many varieties, both Italian and Asian types, and colors to choose from. The recent rain has allowed us to plant the remainder of our fall crops. Well time to get back to picking.
